Fragrances to help you concentrate.
Agni
Agni is a subtle and luxurious musk fragrance with a base of ambrette seeds and a hint of sweet, soft and warm balsams.
Its scent is softened with refreshing and exotic orange blossom (neroli) and supported with gentle cedarwood.
A perfect harmony of balsamic, floral and woody notes.
Arjava
An joyful combination of Indian rose and precious woody notes.
The smooth and soft fragrance of woody notes is paired with contemporary blends of Indian rose to make this a subtle and refined fragrance. A great incense.
Our Indian friends say that on a spiritual level, Arjava stands for honesty, righteousness, clarity and vision.
Bhakti
Bhakti is an exquisite fragrance of mellowed rose, crowned with sweet and spicy geranium and irresistible tuberose.
The rose in this incense is muted and shares its freshness and softness with the exotic scent of aged patchouli and with a woody undertone from Himalayan cedar wood.
A divine fragrance, full of devotion. Our Indian friends say that Bhakti attracts love and who would we be to argue with that?
Ganesh
Ganesh is a masterpiece, rich and sumptuous, feminine and happy.
An exceptionally clean, well balanced and warm incense. Full of spicy and green notes of lavenders, with hints of rose and rosemary, and drying down to a warm and sensuous note of patchouli and amber.
Our most popular fragrance and for good reason..
This is how one critic put it:
"Ganesh is virtually one of the finest durbars to have been created by human hand, it’s a triumph of the incense making art.(....) It’s so rich, decadent and astonishingly good that even one stick will have one reeling in amazement that one could hit such a perfect match of ingredients. Every incense lover owes themselves a treat such as this".
We won't argue with that.
Hansa
Grounding amber notes complimented by fruity Indian kewra and vetiver.
Adding delight are the delicate sweet floral bouquet of the Indian golden champa flower and the gentle aroma of Kashmiri lavender.
A kaleidoscope of fragrances beautifully anchored in rich amber.
Meera
The Heena flower (Lawsonia Inermis) is only small but once distilled, the Heena attar packs a fine punch. The copper stills of Kannauj in Northern India have created the finest attars for many generations, and for our Meera incense, beautiful Heena attar from these stills is mixed with sandalwood and cedar wood to form an exquisitely balanced fragrance. We think it very special: purifying and grounding with a little bit of adventure.
We named Meera in honour of Mira Alfassa, a lady also known as 'The Mother'. Together with Sri Aurobindo, she formulated that 'All Life Is Yoga': that we all have an opportunity for spiritual progress by striving to do everything the very best we can, and to do so for the benefit of humankind.
Let's just say that this strikes a cord with us, and our incense is named 'The Mother's Fragrances' after her.
